On-Demand webcast

Presented by: Randy Franklin Smith and Jonathan Sander

Good access governance requires you to catalog your resources, identify the best person to decide who should have access to each resource, and automate the approval and periodic review process. In practice, that means avoiding the use of local groups, whether you’re on Windows file servers, SQL Server, SharePoint and so on. Only when you can assign permissions using Active Directory groups can you truly understand, much less control, who has access to what.

This webcast will explain why AD groups should be the center of access control and governance and explore what it takes to manage them to improve security and business efficiency. We also discuss how ActiveRoles Server (ARS) can help you manage and secure AD and how One Identity Manager—Active Director Edition supports access control
