One of the highlights of the One Identity EMEA UNITE Partner Conference in Nice was the Partner Celebration Dinner and One Identity EMEA Partner Awards 2018. There were fifteen awards presented by a number of guest presenters alongside Ian Sutherland (VP & GM Sales, One Identity, EMEA).

In the last 15 years iC Consult has become the leading IAM system integrator for large global companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As of October 2013, iC Consult operates in the United States and as of April 2018 in the UK as well.
iC Consult are usually among the first adopters of new products and their strength lies in the combination & integration of different parts of the One Identity portfolio. As an example they were the first partner in the region who adopted Starling 2FA, integrated it with Password Manager and are evaluating further integration into other solutions. They leverage their deep knowledge of Identity Manager and the related peripheral aspects to establish new areas for revenue growth.

One Identity Customer Success Story : Exceed IT Services

Exceed IT Services have progressively built a strong IAM practice, led by Romany Gamal, with One Identity serving the middle-east region and driving some key customer successes. Exceed was established in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in 2001. What started out as five talented technical experts who wanted to sell training, has grown into a regional IT force. Today, Exceed has nearly 400 employees in 11 countries including the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Palestine, and Argentina. The business continues to grow at an average rate of two new locations a year. They are serving over 900 customers in their region across government and private companies.
The specific hands-on experience covers solution development, design, architecture, and implementation of projects that has proven very effective in building a strong IAM practice with One Identity. Their professional and consultative approach serves the needs of complex IAM problems very well and in 2017-18 they have successfully deployed the One Identity Manager solution in many clients. A superb partner to work with and always keen to make the most of the technology to help their customers. One such success is the Qatari-based cultural organization Katara where Exceed IT, took a step-by-step approach ensuring not only a successful deployment, but success for the customer's business needs. Katara had a multiple sign-on platform across distinct and disparate systems, making it hard for users to access the organisation’s many applications. With Identity Manager, Password Manager, and Cloud Access Manager, Katara has reduced the number of sign-in credentials for staff from seven to one and slashed password-related help-desk queries from 600 a year to less than 40. Using Identity Manager, the entire workflow is automated and secure.

EMEA Best New Partner : Jet Infosystems

Jet Infosystems, operating across many CIS countries with a HQ in Moscow, Russia, is one of the most experienced regional System Integrators for Information Security and specifically for IAM area. Jet Infosystems have been selling and implementing Identity Management offerings for a number of years with approximately 30 IGA projects covered. Over the last a year they completely switched to offering One Identity Manager as the solution of choice in their market. Since Jet Infosystems is considered as a center of expertise in the Russian market for IAM, they are a valuable partner for One Identity. Customers work with them to advise and define suitable solutions to meet their needs. Jet is very active in IAM consultancy business and is also creating new content (articles, reviews) on IAM topics.
At the end of January 2018 Jet closed a major One Identity deal with a large e-retailer that had decided to switch from non-successful IDM product to Identity Manager. Another deal in coal mining industry, requires One Identity Manager and the SAP connector. Jet Infosystems have been able to apply the value of the One Identity solutions to help their customer #GetIAMRight.

Accepting this regional award on behalf of I.T. CO, Russia is Aram Khachaturyan, Head of One Identity department at Merlion, our VAD in Russia. Merlion were involved with IT Co in winning an IAM project at a major financial institution. He intends to pass the award over to Evgeniy Loginov, Director of I.T. Brihteja which means Bright Idea are located in Slovenia.
They were a startup in 2011 and with a mixture of young, energetic experienced professionals, they were able to establish a well-rounded One Identity practice. One of the notable successes has been in implementing One Identity within the University of Maribor. The University of Maribor is the second-largest university in Slovenia, with around 30,000 students enrolled across 17 faculties. The university’s goal is to improve its international standing, the quality of its education and research, and the efficiency of its internal processes by 2020. The Computing Centre of the University of Maribor (RCUM) is central to this and the university’s strategic plan since 2012 has been transforming the way it handles identity and access management (IAM) for all students and staff.

In their unique style, Devoteam showcased the great potential of access management in the AWS environment but also how easily it becomes unmanageable by a few system admins. They showed how One Identity Manager within a Cloud environment with many developers which all use the IT Shop enable them to get the right permissions for their projects. This showed their skills and imagination in how effortless and easy the on/off boarding process of a new developer can be, once OIM is used to manage a Cloud environment. A final step was to showcase a quick live presentation using Amazon Alexa to place orders in the IT Shop, ask for "Order Statuses", employee positions and even approve workflows. This again shows their creativity in applying state of the art tools to connect to the new "Application Server" that was introduced with OIM version 7 and provide a revolutionary, easy and innovative user interface, making it clear that OIM fits perfectly in the modern age!
