One Identity Resilience 2022 Partner and User Conference, Barcelona 29 November - 1 December

One Identity Resilience 2022 is steadily approaching (29 Nov. – 1 Dec.) and will be in Barcelona, Spain this year! Of course, there are scores of professional reasons to attend Resilience 2022:

  • Control identity sprawl and refining your identity security practices
  • Gain valuable identity-security industry insights
  • Learn best practices, and tips and tricks to enhance technical proficiency
  • Talk directly with product and identity-security subject matter experts
  • Provide input on product enhancements

But let’s be honest: Conferences are never all work and no play. You’ll want to take advantage of being in Barcelona, right? Here are a few options for how to spend your evenings.

Take Advantage of Barcelona at One Identity Resilience 2022

The Venue

For starters, you don’t even have to leave the hotel grounds to have fun in Barcelona. One Identity Resilience 2022 is being held at Hotel Arts Barcelona, a five-star resort overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the city of Barcelona. The hotel houses five restaurants, including Enoteca Paco Perez, a restaurant with two Michelin stars that offers imaginative Mediterranean cuisine. It also has the only spa in Barcelona with sea views on the top floor of the resort

Check out the hotel website to learn more exquisite details about hotel, as well as room rates and transportation to and from the airport (without needing a rental car).

Get Moving

After enjoying a day of learning and collaborating at One Identity Resilience 2022, you may want to get out and move. Barcelona has you covered. Reserve a spot at Bloc District rock climbing gym to challenge your friends to a race to the top. There are also miles of bike trails along the coast you can take advantage of by renting a bike from Barcelona Beach Bikes.

Sight Seeing

Want to take in the culture and sights of Barcelona? Poblenou Cemetery is close by, which is home to artfully sculpted tombs, including the winged skeleton known as the “Kiss of Death.” Or check out the 3D, immersive, audio/visual displays of renowned artists at IDEAL Centre d’Arts Digitals de Barcelona. There’s also a huge green space near the hotel that has several sculptures and monuments scattered throughout, as well as the Castle of Tres Dragons and the Barcelona Zoo. If you head down the coast, you’ll also encounter the La Estrella Herida, a contemporary beach sculpture, as well as the Torre del Rellotge Barcelona (a clock tower that draws in tourists from all around).

Dining

Along the coast, there are plenty of restaurants to satisfy the appetite that’s been growing throughout One Identity Resilience 2022’s sessions. On Escola Port, there’s Red Fish, a tapas, seafood and cocktail restaurant styled like a thatched fishing hut, as well as Restaurante Bestial Barcelona, a Mediterranean restaurant with a multi-level terrace with beach views. If you continue down Somorrostro beach, you’ll discover Carpe Diem (serving global fare), Ca La Nuri (specializing in seafood) and Arenal Restaurant (Mediterranean fare, including seafood platters). Or you can head into the city for Italian food (216 Grammi Vila Olimpica), pizza (Mogollon’s), Syrian fare (UGARIT Vila Olimpica) or traditional Spanish cuisine (El Port Bar Restaurante), to name a few options.

A Night on the Town

Only a few blocks from the hotel is Pacha Barcelona, a disco club that’s open every night, bringing in the best DJs and artists from all over the world. If you don’t feel like going to a disco club in particular, don’t worry. There are plenty of others scattered all over Barcelona; take your pick! Or, maybe you’d like to try your luck at Casino Barcelona, with slot machines, i-Tables and sports betting right down the street from the hotel. You can also check out one of the many local bars, such as Hoppiness (specializing in craft beer), P41 Bar & Coctelarium (offering expertly crafted cocktails) or L’Anima Del Vi (a wine bar serving natural wines by the glass).

No matter how you choose to spend your leisure time, Barcelona has a place for you, making One Identity Resilience 2022 a fantastic mix of business and pleasure. We hope to see you there this November!
