Empty Agent List in Data Governance when Host Type is "NetApp OnTap 7-Mode CIFS Device"

Do any machines actually appear in the agent dropdown list (i.e. where it says "Select the agent"), or is the list empty?

Also, which version of DGE are you running?

In the machines where you would want to host agents, are the following values filled out in the ADSMachine table: OperatingSystem, OperatingSystemVersion? Did you synchronize AD using a regular synchronization project, or via Active Roles Server sync … or something else?

We have OperatingSystem='OnTap' and OperatingSystemVersion='8.2.2P1' in the ADSMachine table. We synchronize AD using a regular synchronization project.

above the information about the NetApp NAS; in ADSMachine we have some other:

• OperatingSystem='Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise'; OperatingSystemVersion='6.1 (7601)'
• OperatingSystem='Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard'; OperatingSystemVersion='6.1 (7601)'
• OperatingSystem='Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter'; OperatingSystemVersion='6.3 (9600)'

As a quick experiment, what happens when you try and manage one of those Windows Servers as a Host type of "Windows Cluster / Remote Windows Computer". So basically, choose an unmanaged Windows Server and choose to manage it, in the "Host Type" dropdown, select the above type, a new tab should appear for "Agents", which looks like the agents tab for the NetApp NAS device. Does the agent list in that new dropdown show up as empty too?

I did the experiment you suggested to me: the tab "Agents" appear, but the Agent List in the dropdown is always empty.
