How to capture the return value of a PowerShell command in a Designer custom process step?

Hi Team,

Can anyone share with me the example to capture the return value of a PowerShell script command being executed in a Designer custom process step?

Currently, I am using PowerShellComponent - Execute Script process task to execute the PowerShell script commands but I don't see ParamOutName in the parameters list to read the return value after the command execution.

So, I was looking for how to capture the return value of the PowerShell script commands.

Any leads on this will be of great help. Thanks in Advance.!

Hi Sudhir,

If it hasn't changed there is a 'free' output parameter that you can reference in the next step using "&OUT(OutValue_0)&".

I'm not sure if the content of the parameter has changed but in the past it was a serialised XML object that you had to deserialise to get the value you need from it.
