We are going to take the opportunity to high-light one of those tools : Deal Registration

Deal Registration is a vehicle for granting incremental margin on any new licence business to enable the partner, who found the deal, to win the deal with the best price.   It also provides entitlement to back-end rebates - subject to terms & conditions being met.

A partner holding the approved Deal Registration will be the partner of choice for One Identity to participate in the sales engagement.   And will gain support for the sales initiative from One Identity team members.

Additionally a partner with an approved Deal Registration and Accreditation in the respective product will receive a discount at least equal to if not better than any other partner at any level.

A partner with an approved Deal Registration will receive a sourced discount dependent upon the class the product is in and the currency in which it is quoted.  Increased sourced discount may be applied if the partner is accredited in the solution area.

A partner with an approved Deal Registration and Accreditation in the respective product will receive a rebate pursuant to their Partner Tier.

Note : Approved Deal Registrations may be extended based on the guidelines below:

1) All Approved Deal Registrations are initially valid for 120 days.

2) If an opportunity has progressed beyond “Stage 1 – Prospect” at any time during the initial 120-day period, the opportunity will be automatically extended for another 120 days past the original expiration date.

3) Opportunities that remain at “Stage 1 – Prospect” after the initial 120-day period or do not have subsequent extension requests submitted by Sales will be automatically closed at the original expiration date.

4) Subsequent extensions may be granted for additional 120-day periods but only if Opportunity Owner and Sales Management approve.

5) There are no limits to the number of 120-day extension that may be requested. The Sales team will determine all requests for extension in its sole discretion, taking into consideration any factors they deem relevant, including whether the opportunity is progressing and whether the partner is still actively involved.

6) Email notifications with instructions on needed actions to extend will be sent to Partners and Opportunity Owners 10 days prior to any expiration dates and serve as notice of pending opportunity closure.

On our Partner Portal, you will find Deal Registration dashboards to view the opportunities that have been submitted via the Deal Registration form  Partners may view Deal Registrations submitted by themselves as well as those that have been submitted by a Distributor on the Partner's behalf.   Distributors may view Deal Registrations they have submitted on behalf of a Reseller as well as those where the Reseller has identified them as the Distributor.
