Custom Platform for proof point in SPP

I need steps to implement custom platform and how I can customize it for Proofpoint.

 The only information I know of around custom platforms is in the Admin guide or on Github.

 I know that custom platforms is something the One Identity PS team can help with but I do not think they are covered standard support and maintenance.. 
 Long time since I played with Proofpoint but I seem to remember that it was based on a Linux kernel so your best bet may be to see if you can manage the passwords from the command line and then use an ssh connection from Safeguard to carry out the management tasks. 
 There are ssh examples in Github along with telnet and http.
