    BREAKOUT SESSIONS

    Identity Governance Technology Breakout
With the release of One Identity Manager 8.x we made some great strides to become IGA MQ leaders. In this session Alex Binotto and Matthias Bauer will recap some of the core features of the version 8.x release (Password Management, Mobile form factor, new connected systems modules), will update the process of future releases, and how to transition Oracle based implementations to MS SQL.
Presenters: Alex Binotto, Senior Product Manager and Matthias Bauer, Director of Product Engineering
    Privileged Access Management Technology Breakout
As a Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader in IGA, we’re taking our expertise and applying it our new cloud-architected identity governance project. Our initial release of Access Certification focuses on Privileged Account Management. Starling now offers a low-touch, easy-to-use, cloud-first solution to run access certification campaigns against your Safeguard deployments. We’ll demo how you can create an access certification campaign for Safeguard, import Safeguard entitlement data, import other identity-related data, and how owners certify or remove access.
Presenters: Jason Fehrenbach, Senior Product Manager and Tyler Reese, Product Manager

Active Directory is ubiquitous and Azure AD is quickly gaining ground. The IAM challenges surrounding the hybrid AD environment are many and varied and difficult to address with native tools and manual processes. This session will introduce One Identity Active Roles and its automation, workflow, and security capabilities for AD and AAD.
Presenters: David Miles, Senior Product Manager
  • 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.

    BREAKOUT SESSIONS

    Identity Governance Technology Breakout
A major focus is to manage access to privileged accounts. Yet privileged access initiatives often occur independently of standard IGA activities. An integrated approach to managing access to privileged and non-privileged accounts is needed.
This technical session will show how One Identity Manager and One Identity Safeguard allows organizations to holistically manage access to privileged and non-privileged accounts. This integration demonstrates the Identity Lifecycle and Governance capabilities of One Identity Manager and the robust and visionary privileged account management features of One Identity Safeguard, thus affording greater visibility into and control over privileged users and entitlements.
Presenters: Markus Weiss-Ehlers, Senior Program Manager R&D

We’re all sprinting to the cloud, yet will probably operate in hybrid mode for some time. Regardless of your cloud progress the control, security, and governance requirements remain unchanged. In this session, we’ll discuss IAM for a hybrid environment and how a hybrid execution of key access control, privilege, and governance solves today’s problem while front-loading for success in the future.
Presenters: George Cerbone, Principal Security Advisor
    AD centric IAM Technology Breakout

    BREAKOUT SESSIONS

    Identity Governance Technology Breakout
Composition API introduces the notion that an application user interface, or API, is an interface for software. By implementing a dynamic and extensible set of business operations, the API can be used by software applications in much the same way that interfaces for apps and other software are used by humans. This technical session will show how the Composition API drives the next generation of Identity Manager Web applications and integrations. These architectural changes help reducing the complexity of IAM development projects.
Presenters: Hanno Bunjes, Software Engineer Manager
    Privileged Access Management Technology Breakout
The DevOps moment have taken organizations by storm. This rapid deployment and automation methodology allows for faster releases but relies on tools that are open to participate in the delivery pipeline. Join us as Dan Peterson, Safeguard Distinguished Engineer, shows how Safeguard can be part of your DevOps infrastructure.
Presenters: Dan Peterson, Software Dev Principle Engineer
    IDaaS-One Identity Starling Technology Breakout
We often hear from customers that they are torn between their current on-prem investments and leveraging new systems to move their company forward. Presenters: Jason Fehrenbach, Senior Product Manager and Matthias Bauer, Director of Product Engineering
    AD centric IAM Technology Breakout
Many enterprise IAM programs fail to live up to expectations, experience protracted delays, and go over budget. Often, these deficiencies and challenges are due to poorly conceived implementation plans for IAM for AD and Azure AD. In this session, One Identity will detail numerous real-world use cases where enterprise IAM objectives were successfully achieved.

Too often IAM projects require the development of custom web services connector for one or multiple cloud applications. The ongoing need to provision and manage user accounts and rights for these cloud applications can increase the overall project timelines. In this session, Alex Binotto will cover Starling Connect, which is a cloud-based connector micro-service. Starling Connect eliminates the need to develop custom connectors, and it fully integrate with your Identity and access governance capabilities through a multi-tenant cloud platform.
Presenters: Alex Binotto, Senior Product Manager
    Privileged Access Management Technology Breakout
We have made great progress with One Identity Safeguard, but we still have room for improvement. In this session product managers, Tyler Reese and Peter Gyongyosi will discuss the roadmap for the product and what’s to come in the next year. There will also be an open discussion to gather input on future enhancements to the product.

Get a ‘sky-view’ of all the technical pieces working together so you can use the advantages of the cloud with confidence.
Presenters: Jeff Zupan, Director, Product Security
    AD centric IAM Technology Breakout
Microsoft has built an impressive cloud infrastructure with Azure AD and Office 365, but it is really hard to train your helpdesk to manage users in on-prem AD, Azure AD and Office 365. Active Roles can manage all of them completely seamlessly. During this session, attendees will learn what this would look like, and then see a deep demo on how exactly this can be done, as well as be exposed to best practices in managing Microsoft cloud environments with Active Roles.
Presenters: Wayne Smiley, Principle Solutions Architect
