Disk space in Active Roles Server is getting low in storage due to ongoing SQL Server Database Transaction Log file

You have a SQL configuration problem.

Ideally, when your backups run those logs should get cleared out.

We normally rely on a customer's DBAs to correctly configure SQL to avoid this sort of situation.

We recently worked with a MS SQL engineer for a similar issue for our ARS Synchronization DB -
he called us DBA tourists  - lol

And JohnnyQ is spot on as usual.  Internal DBA can advise on setting the SQL to the proper recovery model for your scenario.

There is a solution, but it involves choices - ones that needs to be informed.   

- Ask a DBA about 'simple recovery' model and transaction log backup
