Is it possible to force users to authenticate using a Username and password to login to any of the AR web interfaces

You can configure Federated Authentication in the Active Roles Configuration Center. This will redirect Active Roles web users to the configured IdP's web site for initial authentication. This can then…

In addition Richard Lambert 's suggestion, I recommend to customers that they deploy a security GPO to their users' browsers to force them to enter user names and passwords.
