"Sequence contains no elements" error when running Azure synchronization editor

I ran v7.1 synchronization editor to create Azure sync project, and each of steps went through but at last to create the project. The wizard throws the error message "Sequence contains no elements". What is this indication of the error, anything I missed? Any suggestions are truly appreciated!

Please ensure that you have the required permission for the user are using to connect to Azure AD.

You will find more information in the documentation https://documents.software.dell.com/identity-manager/7.1/administration-guide-for-connecting-to-microsoft-azure-active-directory/setting-up-synchronization-with-an-azure-active-directory-tenant/integrating-one-identity-manager-into-azure-active-directory-as-an-application

Please keep in mind, that you may have to authorize your permissions in Azure when you have a freshly setup Azure AD even if the permission have been setup at the App.

The URL is something like login.microsoftonline.com/.../authorize
