Data Governance Schedule File Deletion

All,

I'm looking for a method to delete files in a secure folder that is managed by One Identity DG, that have met a time threshold of 60 days. Meaning all files under this particular share need to be purge from that folder 60 days from the day they were created or placed in the folder.

Any advice on where to start?

Nothing in the DGE agents, or any available methods of DGE (i.e. via the DGE PowerShell commands) can help you there, as that is not out-of-box functionality. Sounds like you need a custom process.

Every day, for each QAMDuG "NTFS\Folder" entry, remotely enumerate the files. For each one, check the "created" attribute. If it's older than X days (i.e. 60), then remotely delete. Using the .NET method presumably ... msdn.microsoft.com/.../system.io.file.delete(v=vs.110).aspx
