Add functional reporting in addition to the hierarchical reporting

Hello, 
 
 Q1IM stores the manager of a person : the direct hierarchical reporting. 
 We would like to store the functional reporting, is there any default field / table that can be used for that purpose ? 
 e.g. : 
 Mr A is the manager of Mr B. 
 Mr B works on a project with chief Mr C. 
 We want to store the functional link between Mr B and chief Mr C.

In Identity Manager you would create a role class Projects in the section for Business Roles. 
 Then create the project in that role, and assign chief Mr C as Manager to the project. 
 Now create a secondary assignment of the person to the project by using the task Assign business roles and organizations at the person or the task Assign employees at the project (Business role).
