New Process Task

I want to create a new Process Task in designer. It would be similar to the ADS Process Task, AddMember, except I want to put some logic in to determine which group a user gets added to and thought one Process Task where this logic is implemented would be better than lots of AddMember process tasks with a Generating condition on each one. How do you create a new Process Task?

    Process tasks are based on process components and do represent a part of the components API. I'm unsure if there are official ways to build process components on your own. I'd suggest reaching out to One Identity Support to get an official answer on this question first. If the answer is positive, they also might have some documentation on how to achieve that depending on the version of 1IM you're using.

    Thanks Carsten, I think that maybe the Call Method process component will do what I need to do but I can't find much documentation on it. In the parameters of this process component you can define a method name. So it seems this can run some code for me but I don't know where I would write it for the process component to be able to call it. Do you have any more information around this?

    I think there would be others way too to accomplish what you're looking but that for you'd need to share some more information:

    What do you have in mind / what task are you looking for to accomplish?
    What version of 1IM are you using?
