Check data consistency: What is done behind each repair?

For Identity Manager 7.1.1:

Is there anywhere a description, what is done exactly, when executing the repair on a result of the data consistency check?

For example I have:

- Not deleted records with XOrigin=0

- SAP GroupMebmership to reduce

- SAP User is member in Groups to reduce

I'm not shure if I can apply the repair in Production or not. So I need a documentation to understand what will happen after pressing the button.
