How can you delegate approval for requests and attestations for a manager who has gone on leave and forgot to do it?

We often have managers that go on leave and forget to delegate their approval for their direct reports. Is there a way to do this for them as an administrator of IDM?

Also: you can configure timeouts to escalate approval.

We have a similiar scenario where the customer would like to have managers set up their delegations for future approvals which require Recipient Manager approval before they go on their holidays or long term leaves.

I know this can be done with Roles but how would this be done when an approval step requires Recipients Manager approval (CM)?

You could delegate your responsibility as manager for your sub-ordinates as well.
