Manually Escalate a request

Is there any way for IT personnel (or people with proper access) to manually trigger the escalation for a request that is currently pending on approving level.

I want a workflow where system role owner is the first to approve and with escalation to his/her manager.

When a system role owner is out of office or similar, I want the ability to manually trigger the escalation without having to wait for the escalation timeout to kick in. Any idea how to do this? Sounds like it should already be a built-in function but i can't find it anywhere.

This is for version 7.0.2

  • Hi

You can try the customizer method "Escalate" on the PersonWantsOrg object. By using this method you have to submit two parameters:

    1. One for the Person who will escalate the request.
    2. One for the reason why the request have been escalated.
