System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. error in Dell one identity manger portal

The error, "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" is somewhat generic, but it really depends on the version of 1IM you're running.

I would suggest to open a service request with Support and provide the logs as per the following (again, depending on your version):

Is this a new error? Does this occur for every approval?

Hi I encountered the same issue.

After hours of looking for the issue i found that, a process build on personwantsorg with the event ordergranted had a processstep with "Web Portal tracking" enabled. After deleting the processstep and recreating it without process information it worked. Could replicate this issue in 1im v8
