Restrict HelpDesk access to ObjectBrowser

Hello,

We created a helpdesk user and ssigned tehm permissions such that they can see and edit a few things under 'Employees' tab in Manager. However, when logging into objectbrowser as the same user, I noted that the user is able to edit data in most of the tables. Is there a way to restrict this?

Please advise

  • Did you check the permission for your user in Designer? You can see way more objects and have permissions than you are able to see in Navigation nodes in the Manager. But that doesn't mean you can see all properties of those objects or are able to change them.

Both tools access the system over the object layer and the object layer enforces the permission sets.
