IT-Shop viewing requests

Hi All

Customer doesnt allow all users to perform requests, only specific employees could place requests for other and not all employees could request all products

Is there anyway in the we portal to display only the products that that specific employees could request? When I log into the web portal with that specific employee and i select other employees to place a request web portal shows all resources that can be requested for the selected employee by default.

Specific employees are part of each workflow assigned to that product

Regards

  • The old approach is "do not allow all users to perform requests", which is wrong. You should understand that philosophy in IM is different. Any user(requestor) can request a product for any employee(recipient) but it can only request the products that the employee(recipient) can get.
So if You change the recipient You will see that availability of products changes.

This idea is not bad as anyone can contribute to requests and after all... everything goes through workflow confirmations!

Your way (the old way in my book!) can be applied but You have to do some customizations! (It shop parameters for a start; maybe try with "product users can see" first)
