Disable hyperlinks in hyperview

Depending on the version, there should always a virtual function "EnableNavigation()". Whenever a hyperview is called, make sure that this is set to false.

But to be honest: this has to be configured with each and every hyperview. A web configuration parameter might make sense for future releases, as i've seen this requirement often with my last customers.

Are you sure, that you mean ALWAYS?

Usually in the Web Portal, you don't want to disable / enable this for specific employees, but not for everyone.

Based upon my last customers coming up with this requirement, i do mean always. Filtering this for a certain group of identities might be a great idea as well, but would make sense as a configuration parameter for each hyperview itself. This would also fulfill the "no hyperlink on every hyperview" requirement by simply using a filter query like "1=0".

It is not just GDPR, there are also other factors playing in here. But GDPR and the fear of providing too much information with no justified background and clearance by

- worker unions, etc.

Surely, such an audit would focus on the role-based permission model, rather than the UI, right?

Once the permission model is solid, then it should not matter what the UI does.

Correct, but I think standard permissions like Base Role Change and Lookup can give the user rights to view and click all available hyperlinks in hyperviews. I'm not sure if we can modify/change default permissions.

And it makes much more sense, because the role-bases permission model is valid for all tools / UIs....
