upgrade sql 2016 to 2017 version 8.0

Hi,

I am using version 8.0, it's up and running. Infrastructure team want to upgrade the SQL DB from 2016 to 2017 from the DB server by installing the upgrade package.

Before upgrading I want to make sure if there are any heads up or caveat that I need to be aware of and communicate same to the team.

According to the release notes of 8.0 SQL 2017 is supported. So for what you need an advice?

Hi Markus,

Yes, I am aware that it will support 2017 SQL.

I want to confirm, if the DB team upgrades directly on the backend from 2016 to 2017. Are we suppose to do anything in One IDM.

As with any update. I suggest creating a complete backup before the upgrade. And I would try to get the queues empty and turn on the emergency stop for them as a precaution.
