upgrade 7.1.2 to 8.0

Why 8.0 and not 8.0.2?  If you're upgrading, then the latest service pack is the way to go.

The release notes provide some guidance on this, https://support.oneidentity.com/technical-documents/identity-manager/8.0.2/release-notes/4#TOPIC-1026591.

But additionally, this should be something you test in a dev or test environment first.

yes, need to test firstly ,not sure the upgrading would lost the custom configuration .......

This is why the dev\test environment is crucial.  You can confirm if your customizations are preserved or if additional work is required.
