Windows Server 2016 Core Support

One Identity Manager 8.0.2
I had a question from a customer about installing the MSSQL database on Windows 2016 core edition.
I am fairly sure it is not supported
I am assuming something is missing with the Windows server core edition. If it is not supported, I would to explain why it is not supported. Does anyone have some information this topic (which pieces are missing)
