In v8.0.1, the web portal shows ootb an upper frame with, left to right, the logo, search box, alert, shopping cart, user menu, bookmarks, help. If you hover the mouse over the user menu icon, the displayname of the logged user is shown. Using that menu, the user can access her/his profile and modify the firstname or lastname. In either case, the displayname is not updated. If you hover the mouse again over the user icon, you may notice that the displayname has not been refreshed with the new data. Is this a bug? Is there a quick workaround to solve it?
