CSV Export with sync editor. End-Of-Line

Hi *,

we have implemented the CSV export with the CSV connector in Synchronization Editor. It seems to work pretty good but there are some problems with the End-Of-Line (EOL) characters.

The header line ends with CR and the rest ends with CR+LF

Is there any way to influence on this end of lines? Or at least to make it homogeneous

Forgot some more questions:

Did the export created the complete file or did you provide the file containing the header and only the content was provided by the export?

If you provided the file with the header line, did you create the file on a Mac (as CR as line ending is a typical Mac thing)?

If the answer to my first question is that the export created the complete file, then please contact support and ask for the hotfix for VPR#30288. That should solve the issue for 7.1 or 8.0.

Hi Markus,

We are working with 7.1.4.

Well, initially the CSV file was created by the export but we keep the file in the export folder, so it will be daily overwritten by the export. I have tried to update the file with the CR+LF EOL and re-run the export but with no success.

I will ask for the hotfix
