AD Connector to Active Roles Connector Migration in One Identity Manager 7.1.2

Not an easy one I am afraid. You may want to ask support if they are able to assist you.

Both of ARS and AD connectors cannot be side-by-side to same domain. You can only have either an ARS or an AD connector for a domain. For the mappings, ARS connector not only provides AD attributes as AD connector does but also provides additional ARS attributes (prefix edsv). For the workflows, it seems to be same to both connectors. There is no automatic conversion to convert AD to ARS connector as far as I can tell. You will have to create ARS sync project; copy over custom mappings if you have in AD to new ARS project; then create new mappings for ARS attributes as needed. HTH 

We are aware of the limit of one, we have disabled the AD project and we attempted to "Copy" the mappings over by changing their DPRShell, but that did not quite work. How do we "copy over custom mappings"? Something tells me this is going to be painful. We have a lot of mappings =(

I don't think it would be durable by OOTB. I am not sure if a custom DPRTemplate can be helpful to your case but you need Support assistances for that.
