Hi Experts.
We are at the end of an InterOrg mail migration project using QMMEX 8.14. All mailboxes have been switched and are active in the target environment. We are at the point where we want to decomission the migration environment and the source Exchange organization. For my understanding the highlevel process is as follows:
Remove/disable mail migration project (mailboxes, calendar, public folders)
Remove/disable Dirsync
Cleanup AD objects (SIDHistory, extensionattributes)
Remove trust between source and target
Decomission migration servers and source Exchange
I need help with cleaning up the target AD objects. We want to clean SIDHistory attribute from affected AD user objects. But if I understand correctly, once we remove the SIDHistory users cannot access mailboxes where they are granted i.e. FullAccess since the FullAccess is bound to the source SID. Am I correct and what is the approach here?
