Approval not showing up in 1DM 8

Hello everyone, 

I am working on an IT workshop workflow which requests the creation of an SAP account after approval by the requestor's manager. I can see the request via the web ui, and submit it, but it never appear's on the manager's UI.

So a couple of questions:

1. Any ideas on troubleshooting?

2. I can see the request from the requestor web UI but it never tells me who the approver is, I'm just told: "The next decision step is currently being calculated. The request might also be waiting on a pending decision of another request." (something tells me this is important)

3. Is there a way to approve the request from a non web source (Manager?)

4. Is anyone aware of a good tutorial on setting up these processes?

    Hi Matt,

    1. See point 3 and log in to manager as the person who did the request. Then navigate to My Data>IT Shop>Pending request. Here it possible to see the used workflow and at what point the request is.

    2. With the point 1 instructions you should be able to see were the request is hanging.

    3. Turn on the configuration parameter SysConfig\Display\PersonalData. Then in Manager is a new menu node "My Data", if one signs in as an employee. There you have the ability to do the most operations that are available through web ui.


    4. My advice for a tutorial would be OneIM_ITShop_Administration.chm.
