Search for ADSGroups in WebPortal

Hi,

How can I configure the search in WebPortal to include results from ADSGroups? In the current setup we can search for Person, Cost Center, System roles and so on, but I wold also like to get result from AD-group names, so our service desk can see wich products to order to get a specific AD-group. Is this possible to configure in One Identity 8.1.1?

If the group(s) are not published to IT Shop you can just open the group in Manager and select the option "Add to IT Shop" this will publish the group to IT Shop and make it available in the search.

Hi Troy,

I guess my question was a bit unclear. I don't want the users to be able to order the group, just search for it. Since service desk is used to work with AD groups, they are requesting to be able to search for the group name and see wich (orderable) system roles are connected to that group.

If there is no service item then it will show up like this:

Then if someone clicks on it and selects overview

You will then see which business roles are assigned to this group
