start a process as the Synchronization user

is it possible to run script based synchronization wtih custom target system not under the SA user, but as the Synchronization user?

it would be nice to distinguish changes that were made in target system in Time Trace as we do with SynEditor projects.

You haven't specified the version you are using, but you can try to set the AuthenticationString parameter of your process steps executing the script to

You haven't specified the version you are using, but you can try to set the AuthenticationString parameter of your process steps executing the script to

Value = "Name=Synchronization;EnvironmentName=Synchronization;Display=Synchronization"

and check if it is working.
