How to toggle password in web portal?

Hi Team,

I have created a web page to display unmanaged AD accounts (grid display) so that the respective owner of unmanaged accounts can select them to reset the password - once accounts selected there is a button 'Reset password' enabled . Post clicking it there is a popup highlighting the password policy instruction along with two field as below

New Password * (TextBox - to enter the pasword;used single row password field)

Confirm Password * (TextBox - to re-enter the pasword;used single row password field)

Can you help me how to toggle password ? is there any feature available in Web Designer ? The One IM tool version is 8.0.2

Not the answer of your question:

I am also planning to have similar capability on the IT shop. Are you displaying unmanaged accounts of the logged-in person? Could you please explain where to start to achieve this configuration?

Hi Daniel,

I have created a custom module for building this process to display it under the 'My Responisibilities' menu item in web page using Web Designer

Toggling the password is done by setting the password in the UserPassword property of the ADSAccount object if that is what you are up to.

Hi Markus,

Could you please explain how? However I don't know whether the solution you provide is relevant to my requirement. I would like to have a visibility option of the password that is entered in the text fields (single row password field) of pop-up page of web portal.

See, I misunderstood your requirement. Forget about my post then and sorry, I am unable to answer your question. I do not know if it is possible to have a toogle icon/button to make the typed visible.
