How to temporary disable history database connection.

Hello All,

I need help from you in below situation.

We want to test databsebackup and restore functionality in history databse.

Did anyone did this and could you please let me know what are the steps and best practice I should follow.

    Hello,

    This is not something we really document.  I'd suggest to refer to the SQL Server documentation regarding backups and restores.

    If the History DB is offline when the import runs it might lead to an error, so you could disable until the backup/restore is complete.  Other than that the MS documentation is probably best.
