This is a production level system so I am looking for some advice before acting.
in our client's production system we have an AD sync project that would not connect. It continually gave a bad user/pass error even after we verified that the involved accounts do have access and can browse both via the sync editor and ADUC.
Unable to solve the issue I decided to re-create the project.
After deleting the project via Sync Editor (the entry is gone from the sync editor screen) I am now unable to save the new project because "there is already a synchronization connected to this domain"
If I look into the DPRSystemConenction table I do indeed see an entry for the ADS sync that I removed.
So the question: How can I clean this up so I can recreate the AD sync?
I'm tempted to remove the DPRSystemConenction via SQL but since this is a production system I thought I would reach out to the community before acting.
Thanks,
-Aaron
