SynchronizationEditor.CLI.exe Script as Parameter

No, it is not possible to specify a script as the initial connection for the connector has to be specified as in the UI. But if the template you are using to create the sync project is creating a scripted variable then this would be a one-timer.

But you could of course request the password using other means (PowerShell etc.) and use this password in your call of the CLI.

Thanks for you answer. As expected I  have to get the password already in the powershell script calling the CLI. 
After the sync project is created I can replace the content of the variable with the script funktionality.

If you create a custom template that includes your scripted variable the second step shouldn‘t be necessary.

I'd like to have a followup on this topic.

Is there any documentation how to deal with custom templates? I would like to have one, working exactly as the one out of the box, except that the password doesn't have to be entered, since we read it from our vault. The other parameters should be entered the same way as in the standard template.
