I need to change the database connection password in an existing Web Application but I can't fine a way to do that. I'm using 8.1.4. The db connection password was asked once during the application creation but I created it already.

Please check the documentation here https://support.oneidentity.com/technical-documents/identity-manager/8.1.4/installation-guide/22#TOPIC-1529332 It explains how to change the database connection using the Web Designer Configuration Editor.
Thank you for the answer . I'm sorry but I can't find Database Connection in Web Designer Configuration Editor. Documentation is unclear in this case.
Could you provide a screenshot? It helps. Thanks
I might be picky, but it is described in the documentation as well. https://support.oneidentity.com/de-de/technical-documents/identity-manager/8.1.4/installation-guide/21#TOPIC-1529331
To configure a web application
So, if the Web Portal is installed in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\IdentityManager\bin you will find the tool WebDesigner.ConfigFileEditor.exe there.
Thanks I found the configurator and followed the instructions. At the end I got this error if I try to login as viadmin: Migration version of this database is too new. This software works only with migration versions up to 2017.0011.0004.9999. I recently migrated the db from 8.0.2 to 8.1.4 and updated the software.
So, you have updated the database but the database connection of the web portal has changed?
yes. an unfortunate event. the password of the sql server user was changed befone the upgrade but I did know. Now I cant go to /monitor and complete the update of the web application because the authentication error. There is a way to change the password in the configuration file using an editor? The old password was lost.
