Scope for the Key resolution by reference

Hi group!

I have a question related to the properties defined as key resolution by reference. I have defined a property of this type on the left side of a mapping (1IM side) this property is defined as following:

Base property: UID_ParentDepartment
Search property: ShortName

When I simulate the synchronization it gives me up some warnings complaining like this: The schema property ShortName@Department does not have unique data. The value (RH0) occurs more than once and all

I have limited the 1IM scope for the schema class I use in the mapping. To avoid this duplicities, I have applied some Object filters, also if I browse this scope I can see that there are no duplicated elements.

My question is, Does the Key resolution by referece use a different scope than the scope definied for the schema class?

There is a reference scope that can be defined as well. Try to set this as well.

So the scope for the reference is different from the scope of 1IM? They have nothing to do with it?

References to objects in different target systems can be mapped in the One Identity Manager database. In order to solve these references, the target system scope must be extended to include the referenced target systems. For this, you can additionally define a reference scope for each system connection. You can enter the reference scope for the database in the same way. This means that references to parts of the One Identity Manager database can be resolved which are not included in the general scope.

If no reference scope is defined, the general scope is also used for the reference resolution.

So this depends on your scope definition if a reference scope is necessary. But you should use a system filter and not an object filter for the scope.
