Technical Names of Groups are not found if order able via roles

IAM Shop search for a group name is not successful, if the group is assigned to a role.
Example: If a Create a Role with Name Role A and I add two groups, lets say group01 and group02.
The AccProduct is only build for the Role. Now if a user search for group01 or group02, he do not find the Role A.

I think that adding all group names to the description of the product (LP) is not a good idea.
Or also to create some helper Attribute on the AccProduct, to add all the values to the index is not a value able workaround.

Is it possible to configure the index in a way, that all assigned names of groups assigned to a role, can also be indexed.

If I show a order able role in IT Shop, i can see all assigned entitlements in the detail area, tab

Does anybody having the same problem?

  • One option would be to tag the service item with the group names. The search index should find the service item then. But just from my personal point of view. If the user should request roles - assuming you put those in the shop for that reason - why not describing the role accordingly. Searching for a group an getting a role - with potentially more than one group assigned - leads to entitlement bloating in the end.
