delete sets that no longer exist - Option to update

Question

Hello, 
 I have a need to update a person record when it no longer exist in the source table. 
 HR will at times remove a record from the HR table. The problem is I've already have a person record for it. 
 I will need to mark the person record terminated some how. I've looked at Data imports and see that delete sets that no longer exist is there but it will not help. 
 At the time of the insert the object has account definitions and business roles that are attached. 
 I also looked at synchronization editor and do not see an option to update if Object only in One Identity Manager. 
 I'm thinking i will need an out of the box solution where I would run a daily script against the Person table and search for pending hires and term if it does not exist in the HR table. 
 I don't want to rely on a script to handle this but I do need a solution. I'm currently running 8.1.

Hey. 
 From version 8.1.3, you could execute a script when records are missing from the HR table: https://support.oneidentity.com/technical-documents/identity-manager/8.1.3/target-system-synchronization-reference-guide/22#TOPIC-1477141 
 What we did was fix this outside of Identity Manager with an extra SQL-database/table that instead of removing the record updated the record with an extra column called OutstandingDate. In the sync editor we updated ExitDate on Person if OutstandingDate was filled in the table outside of Identity Manager. Works flawlessly.
