Dynamic Groups Where Clause

Hello,

I have a difficult question. In our 8.1.4 we need in where-clause of dynamic groups retrieve "Uid_DynamicRoles" of these dynamic groups in order to get different Uid_Department from different Itshops (which have customer nodes with these corresponded dynamic groups). But how can we dynamicaly get in where-clause "Uid_DynamicGroups" of Dynamic Groups? It would unify our approach and write one single script to all of our dynamic groups.

Not sure I full understand your question - can't you do something like "UID_DynamicGroup in (select UID_DynamicGroup from DynamicGroup where <whereclause>)"

Sorry, but I think this is only possible starting with 8.2.

In 8.2 you have access to a variable @UID_Org to be able to create a kind of dynamic where-clause.

-- Select person where primary department = UID_Department of ITShop customer node -- the dynamic role is assigned to. UID_Department = (select b.UID_OrgDepartment from BaseTree b where b.UID_Org = @UID_Org)

Oh, thank you, Markus. I suppose it accelerates our plans to upgrade to 8.2
