Requesting O3EAADUserOwnsUnifiedGroup

If I am not mistaken, then ownership handling has been enhanced in 8.2 and should include the Exchange Online groups as well.

Can you please elaborate on those enhancements or point to some documentation about requesting of ownerships like O3EAADUserOwnsUnifiedGroup?

You may have noticed, that I have written if I am not mistaken. But since AADGroups have a product owner, and a process exists that is able to add the product owner to O3EAADUserOwnsUnifiedGroup it should work to request this role membership.

Of course I saw the "If I am not mistaken"...But usually you aren't, so I was hoping for some guidance on how this works. And you actually provided that now

It's based on membership in the groups' product owner role. Process O3E_PersonInAERole_Set_Owner adds the new members accounts as owners to the O3EAADUserOwnsUnifiedGroup. There doesn't seem to be a similar process for owner removal and the existing one also doesn't care about already existing entries in O3EAADUserOwnsUnifiedGroup and adds an error to JobHistory/Log if there are...But at least it's something!
