Sharepoint Online connector - limited availability of target schema attributes

Apart from a limited set of available target schema attributes from the Sharepoint Online tenant, I wonder if it would be possible to get more attributes available through the connector?

E.g.: by default we now only receive (read-only) 'Account name', 'Name' and 'Work email' as useful attribute values among a few other boolean types, whilst a lot more so called User Profile properties have been defined in the Sharepoint Online Admin Center.

Most interesting are the ones that are define in the Custom Properties section:

Our customer has a requirement to have One Identity provision certain custom property values, as these cannot (!?) be mapped/synced between existing AzureAD accounts and Sharepoint Online (both on the tenant side).

  • Bumping this as we have exactly the same question. We are building a People Directory app in SharePoint and we are using Custom Fields in SharePoint for additional attributes such as 'First Aider' or 'Fire Warden'.

It would be nice to have an easy way to do this with an Identity Manager sync project. Current thinking is that we may need to build a custom PowerShell connector to do it.

Did you manage to work out a way to do it? Or does anyone else have any suggestions?
