How to create a new module in Web Designer for external employee

Hi Group!!

I'm new with Web Designer and I need to create a new module in it only for external employees.

What I have done so far is to create a copy of VI_Employee_Edit module (CCC_Ext_Employee_Edit) which I think is the one used to create new employees.

Then I have tried to visualize CCC_Ext_Employee_Edit in the browser with the url below, but when I try to navigate to it the browser is refreshed but the new module is not showing.

<BasisURL>/page.axd?ContextID=CCC_Ext_Employee_Edit

Any Idea what I'm doing wrong? Could you please tell me some tips or steps on how to achieve this?

I have searched the Forum but I couldn't find anything.

To clarify, what I want is to create only external employees using this new module.

By the way, I'm using Web Designer 8.1.

Hi David,

Yes, VI_Employee_Edit is used to create new employees.

I've never tried the URL replace method :) Whenever I need to preview a new module I can either create a customization rule (Edit->Configure Project->Customization) and add a replacement rule. The copy process should create this rule automatically too. Or you can simply add a button in the start page to redirect to the newer module and preview it.
