OneID tries to create an existing account on AD

When I change a Person property, a new Account Definition is added to Person. The existing account definition remains.

The ADSAccount is updated according the new definition but OneID tries also to create a new account on Active Directory and the task ends in frozen state

There is a way to avoid that?

  • What property are you changing on the person record? What version of Identity Manager? It sounds like you have a custom template set on the Person property that you are changing and this in turn is causing the record to update the ADSAccount. When certain properties are changed on the Person record the system is supposed to change the attached target system accounts to reflect this change, this is as designed if using a fully managed account.
