encryption of configuration parameter disabled

In current versions of OneIM, it is not allowed to set the flag if the database itself is not encrypted. It was possible in older versions, but customers identified it as a bug. Behavior has changed in 8.1.4, and 8.2.

From the 8.1.4 release notes:

Although the database is not encrypted, the encrypted option can be enabled for custom configuration parameters. (VPR)33089

Do I need to get hotfix from support so that It can be fixed in 8.1.5?

Or I can wait as we are planning to upgrade OIM to 8.2.

Sorry if I was unclear. The behavior you are seeing is the intended behavior. If you want to encrypt a configuration parameter, you need to encrypt the database.
