DB is not online

Hi guys,

We just recently upgraded our 1IM platform to the newest version 8.2. And upon upgrading it our jobserver is having an error. See below:

2022-06-07 12:00:33 +10:00 - Serious: Last process step request failed with error: '"[System.Exception] DB is not online."'!2022-06-07 12:00:33 +10:00 - Error occurred in DbRequestQueue.Process (thread: Database Job Results):
[System.Exception] DB is not online.

Would you know what are we missing here. Thanks.

Whatever database the job service is connecting too is failing to connect. Try creating a new SQL server connection in the job service configurator on the job server.

As the error states the database looks to be not online, if you have access to SQL management studio, I would confirm if that is the case. Check if the SQL server agent is running as well on the SQL server.

Hi Troy,

I have checked our database and it is online. SQL server agent is also running. It seems like we need to configure something in OIM for correct connection. Would you know where should we modifying the connection?
