Re-Attestation where PersonHead is attester

Hi,

We are setting op an attestation case where we will do a re-attestation of System Role members (PersonHasEset).

OOTB there is a Approval Policy  -Attestation by system role manager with auto-remove- , and this policy uses the System Role manager. But instead of the having the System Role Manager as approver we want to use the Recipient's Manager, that is the PersonHead.

Any help will be highly appreciated :-)

  • A short guide about how to do the preparations in the Manager.

    • Step 1: Create a copy of the approval workflow "Attestation by system role manager with automatic removal of assignments" and name it (just a sample) "Attestation by employee manager with auto-remove". The longer name "Attestation by employee manager with automatic removal of assignments" can be put in as a translation for the shorter name "Attestation by employee manager with auto-remove".
    • Step 2: in the copy - replace the approval procedure "RE - Manager of system roles to be attested" at the approval step "Role owner" with the approval procedure "CM - Recipient's manager".
    • Step 3: Create a new approval policy "Attestation by employee manager with auto-remove" and assign the copied approval workflow.
    • Step 4: Assign the new approval procedure to the "System role membership attestation" attestation procedure.

    The next step can be done in Manager or the Web Portal.

    • Step 5: You can now select the new approval procedure for your attestation policy (Assuming it is based on the attestation procedure mentioned in Step 4).
