we are running on 8.2.
The customer has the requirement to set initial passwords for specific AD-Domains by using passcode on the one side and an to set a separate password for one more dedicated portal application on the other side. It shall be possible to set the passwords independently.
Due to the formulation "I want to reset one or more passwords" the assumption was that by selection this option, it would be possible to select a dedicated account and to set a password for a the selected account only.
We looked into the documentation in Web App Config Guide and also did some evaluations, unfortunately on an already customized implementation, but haven't found what we are looking for. The selection seems to be always on the person/ identity layer.
Is there a way to set dedicated passwords on accounts or is it always based and inherited from the person?
