csvsys locked by another process

When executing a CSV sync, we sometimes get the following exception:

[1777292] Error connecting system (CSV Connector)! [System.IO.IOException] The process cannot access the file 'C:\System files\XXX.csvsys' because it is being used by another process.

This error occurs in about 10% of the sync runs and is not reproducible.

Does anyone have any ideas about this?

How often are the CSV syncs running? It sounds as if the last synchronization has not completely finished before the next one starts possibly.

Hi Troy,

yes, it can happen that a sync is started -with different parameters- while the previous sync is not yet finished. The job history confirms this, and the error does not usually occur in this case.
I assumed that the access to the csvsys is read-only, are you sure that this is not the case?

Process monitor should show what is happening with the file.
