I have two Job Services on two different Job Servers and I installed the database agent plug-in on both the Job Services, but I get the following "Error" (indeed is an INFO) in the Job Service logs:
2022-12-13 12:02:17.4694 INFO ([08f29fbb PID:5908] VI.Database.Agent.Startup.ApplicationsAlreadyRunning ) : Waiting for other instance of 'OneIM_BootstrapForceMode' or 'OneIM_Bootstrap' or 'OneIM_DatabaseAgent' that is already running on host 'ONEIDENTITY7INS' to finish.
Since I had a same issue on another installation, I remember I fixed it by renaming the two jobproviders and specifying the two different JobProviderID's on the DatabaseAgent Plug-in section in the JobService.cfg files, each had the corresponding name.
Unfortunatly this time I still get that "Error" despite I configured the job services in the same way I did last time, I probably remember wrong..
To conclude:
what do you suggest when there are two job services? To add the DBAgent Plug-In on both the Job Services? If yes, how can i configure it without get that "Error"? To add the plug-in on just One Job service? Does the last option make sense? I would prefer the first one, because I ask myself what would happen if the Job Server with the Plug-In is down.
